RisingSun: Wishes Are Not Horses; Wishing Is Not Enough
English Proverb: "If wishes were horses, beggars would
ride."
Everyone wishes for different things, but not all persons
are ready to do what it will take to have those things they wish for. That is
the difference between an achiever and a non-achiever. When an achiever
conceives a desire in their heart, they start making plans and strategies on
how to make it happen, and then go into action. And if they face opposition,
they persist until they overcome.
The non-achievers only conceive desires and keep fantasising
about them, wishing somehow they'd come through. They make excuses and
procrastinate, and it all ends as mere wishes.
Wishes are not horses; wishing is not enough. If you really
want it, stop wishing for it and start doing something about it. The least
action you take towards achieving a desire is greater than the strongest
passion you feel for that desire.
